I’ve put together a list of recommended freelancer resources that I use or have used personally. They have all helped me run my business more efficiently in some way, and hopefully they will do the same for you.
I will keep adding to this page as I come across new resources that I recommend.
Note: Many of the links on this page are affiliate links and earn me a small commission if you purchase by clicking on them. There is no additional cost to you, and it helps keep this site sustainable. I am or have been a signed up, paid up, and regular user of all of them.
Top Tools
These particular tools are the ones I couldn’t do without. Highly recommended.
Buffer – Easily schedule and post to all your social media accounts.
DropBox – All your files available any time, everywhere.
BackBlaze – Set and forget backups.
LastPass – You’re either making your passwords too simple or repetitive, or you struggle to remember them (or worse – you write them down). This tool solves all that.
Books
These are the books I’ve read that have helped me or shaped my thinking in some way. They’re not all necessarily directly about freelancing – some focus on mindset and attitude which I believe helps with being a freelancer.
Services
